List of Scholarships and Eligibility Requirements:

Bishop Stanley G. Clarke, C.D. and Avelena M. Clarke Scholarship

Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. A male and female Jamaican national.
  2. Possess good academic records.
  3. Attends a Moravian Sunday School and transitioning to high school.
  4. Already/will be accepted to a high school.
  5. Is a resident of a community serviced by the church.
  6. Demonstrates a financial need.
  7. Actively involved in a church, community and/or school activity.

Value of award: Monetary award will not exceed JM$44,000.00 per annum – renewable for one (1) year on confirmation of good academic standing and other eligibility requirements.

 

Daphne & Raphael Clarke Educational Scholarship

Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. Jamaican national.
  2. Possess  good academic records.
  3. Attends the Fairfield Moravian Sunday School and is transitioning to high school.
  4. Already/will be accepted to a high school.
  5. Is a resident of a community serviced by the church.
  6. Demonstrates a financial need.
  7. Actively involved in a church, community and/or school activity.

Value of award: Monetary award will not exceed JM$44,000.00 per annum – renewable for one (1) year on confirmation of good academic standing and other eligibility requirements. This scholarship will be awarded to three (3) Sunday School attendees.

 
Islan Farquharson Scholarship

Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. A male Jamaican national.
  2. Possess good academic records.
  3. Attends the Springfield Moravian Sunday School and transitioning to high school.
  4. Already/will be accepted to a high school.
  5. Is a resident of the Springfield or Cheviot Hill Communities.
  6. Demonstrates a financial need.
  7. Actively involved in a church, community and/or school activity.

Value of award: Monetary award will not exceed JM$44,000.00 per annum – renewable for one (1) year on confirmation of good academic standing and other eligibility requirements.

 

Claris Farquharson Scholarship

Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. A female Jamaican national.
  2. Possess good academic records.
  3. Attends the Springfield Moravian Sunday School and transitioning to high school.
  4. Already/will be accepted to a high school.
  5. Is a resident of the Springfield or Cheviot Hill Communities.
  6. Demonstrates a financial need.

Children of Claris & Islan Farquharson Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. A Jamaican national.
  2. Possess good academic records.
  3. Attends Springfield Primary School and is transitioning to high school.
  4. Attends a Sunday School.
  5. Already/will be accepted to a high school.
  6. Is a resident of the Springfield or Cheviot Hill Communities.
  7. Demonstrates a financial need.
  8. Actively involved in a church, community and/or school activity.

Mavis and Sarah Educational (MASE) Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. A female and male Jamaican national.
  2. Possess good academic records.
  3. Attends Fairfield Primary School and is transitioning to high school.
  4. Attends a Sunday School.
  5. Already/will be accepted to a high school.
  6. Is a resident of the communities serviced by the school.
  7. Demonstrates a financial need.
  8. Actively involved in a church, community and/or school activity.

Value of award: Monetary award will not exceed JM$44,000.00 per annum – renewable for one (1) year on confirmation of good academic standing and other eligibility requirements.

 

Upward & Onward (U&O) and Junos Society Scholarship
Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. A Juno and U&O girl of Jamaican nationality.
  2. Possess good academic records.
  3. Attends a primary school and is transitioning to high school or already attending high school.
  4. Is an active member of the Society.
  5. Attends a Sunday School.
  6. Demonstrates a financial need.
  7. Actively involved in a church, community and/or school activity.

Value of award: Monetary award will not exceed JM$44,000.00 per annum – previous recipients will not be eligible for reapplication.

 

Oreal D. Bailey, Sr. Scholarship

Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. A male Jamaican national.
  2. Possess good academic records.
  3. Attends a Sunday School and is transitioning to high school.
  4. Already/will be accepted to a high school.
  5. Is a resident of a community serviced by the church.
  6. Demonstrates a financial need.
  7. Actively involved in a church, community and/or school activity.

Edlin Thompson Scholarship

  5. Is a resident of a community serviced by the church.

Winston Small Educational Scholarship

 Eligibility requirements for candidates:

  1. A Jamaican national.
  2. Possess good academic records.
  3. Attends a Sunday School.
  4. Attends the Clarksonville All Age School and transitioning to high school.
  5. Already/will be accepted to a high school.
  6. Is a resident of a community serviced by the church.
  7. Demonstrates a financial need.
  8. Actively involved in a church, community and/or school activity.

Value of award: Monetary award will not exceed JM$44,000.00 per annum – renewable for one (1) year on confirmation of good academic standing and other eligibility requirements.

 

Dermott DaCosta Educational Scholarship

 Eligibility requirements for candidates:
