Guidelines for Social Media Video Competition
1. Overview
The Social Media Video Competition encourages students and young people to express
how they find peace after their storms; how they overcome challenges peacefully, promote
kindness, non-violence and respect. The competition encourages creativity, positive
storytelling, and responsible digital engagement. Participants are invited to submit shortform
videos that align with the competition theme and promote constructive use of social
media.
Eligibility
• Open to individuals or teams within the following age group
o Primary School Students
o Secondary School Students
o Youth Clubs/Student Groups
• Participants must have permission from a parent/guardian if under 18.
• Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of the organizing body are
excluded.
3. Competition Theme
• Videos must clearly relate to the theme – Find Peace After Your Storm
Content should be original, respectful, and suitable for a general audience.
• Videos must not promote harmful behavior, misinformation, or discrimination.
4. Video Requirements
• Length: 2-5 minutes
• Format: MP4 or MOV.
• Orientation: Vertical (9:16) preferred for social platforms.
• Resolution: Minimum 1080p.
• Language: English
