What We Do
Building Stronger Communities Through Action
At Unitas of Jamaica, we turn compassion into practical action. Our work focuses on empowering individuals, strengthening families, and supporting communities through programs rooted in dignity, partnership, and long-term impact.
- We support education, skills training, and livelihood initiatives that strengthen local capacity and economic resilience.
- We facilitate dialogue, conflict resolution, and community mediation to promote safer, more inclusive spaces.
- We work with partners to support preparedness planning, emergency response, and long-term recovery following natural disasters.
- We collaborate with churches, community groups, NGOs, and donors to amplify impact and advocate for equitable development policies.

Our Focus Areas
Agricultural
Building Food Security and Climate Resilience Together. The program began with two cornerstone initiatives, water harvesting and greenhouse farming as practical responses to Jamaica’s growing climate challenges.
Vocational
